The Insert Media Council announced that it will recognize Media Horizons’ CEO Jim Kabakow for his outstanding achievements and contributions to the world of insert media. The council’s honors will be presented at its annual “Roast & Toast” Luncheon on February 26 at The Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich, CT.
While Jim, along with other members of the leadership team at Media Horizons, has overseen the company’s transition from an insert and print media buying firm to an integrated offline and digital agency with full-service expertise, he recognizes that insert media continues to play an important role in multichannel marketing campaigns.
“Insert media remains a scalable and cost-effective customer acquisition channel that compliments digital media,” said Jim. “Many new-economy marketers have embraced the channel to capitalize on its low cost, targeting, and implied endorsement”.
Prior to joining Media Horizons, Jim worked in the financial industry at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. He holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Tufts University and has taught direct marketing at Western Connecticut State University.
