Media Horizons is pleased to announce the promotion of Cyrus Karimi to Vice President, Search and Affiliate Marketing.
Cyrus joined Media Horizons in 2014 as Director of Search Marketing and Audience Generation, bringing with him more than 16 years of paid and organic search marketing experience.
In his role, he oversees Media Horizons’ search and affiliate marketing capabilities, in addition to managing a team of search marketing professionals with a client roster that cuts across both B2B and B2C verticals.
“In the two years since Cyrus joined Media Horizons, he has been responsible for the launch of our paid search, organic search and affiliate marketing capabilities. Combined they have generated a significant portion of the agency’s new business revenue,” said Erica DePalma, Vice President of Digital Marketing at Media Horizons. “That revenue is directly tied to Cyrus’ ability to build actionable media recommendations based on client goals, create collaborative cross-functional and cross-departmental relationships, and position himself as a credible and reliable client resource.”
Cyrus joined Media Horizons from Story Worldwide, where he was Global Director, Audience Generation Strategy, and worked with clients including Unilever, General Mills, Beech-Nut, and the USA Network, among others.
Prior to Story Worldwide, Cyrus held senior search positions at Publicis Modem, imc2, Monster.com and Havas. Cyrus holds a B.A. in Marketing from University of Massachusetts.
